Default Musical Instruments?

I was thinking, and over the last few days I've seen alot of people just sitting around with /flute, /drums, /violin, /guitar etc, and I was wondering, why not add them as playable instruments, you could have all kinds of instruments from all 3 countries, and of course, a mute button for people who dont want to listen to music, you could also add a musical fame system or something along those lines, people could make bands and start playing at places for money, or just for fun. I don't know, but I think it would be kind of cool to be able to run around playing an Ocarina >.>

I'd Love to see a little music setup like that. Decide what notes play and in what order. Create a Band that plays really famous songs! Lets hear Holy Thunderforce!

That would be kool and mabye you would have to make the insruments like buy or find wood and carve it some how? I like the idea of making a band and playing spacific notes, that would be a lot of fun! I would like this impilmented!

I'd like a /trombone emote. I'd be totally awesome.

I think physical objects probably are a bad thing, but more musical emotes with a preset, cool sound could function if done tastefully.

my $.02

Lol, although its unneeded, I would love to have a real instrument and hear ACTUAL sounds. Now that would be awesome.

/unsigned for actual item intruments

/signed for more musical emotes..

Even without a bass, The Doors still needed a keyboard...

edit: I wish I could spell everything right on the first try...

Some sort of side game type entertainment with instruments would be pretty fun, but if they are actually going to make sound, there should be some sort of setting, otherwise however the sounds manifest, they will just become rackit when jumbled with every other uncoordinated player.

True. Perhaps a musical place? with a stage?

Henge of Denravi's got it covered.

But, this sounds like a good idea. Definately /signed on the concept of actual instuments, but /notsigned on having to keep them in your inventory. More instumental emotes would be nice, too.

I already have the Pouch, and the 2 "10 slot bags" filled up with all my event items, armor, and weapons :S. Too bad I have no space for even a mule. My mule is dead filled. I don't think I can even transfer items now.

hmm for some reason, the 1st time i read this i wasnt thinking of inventory item instruments, but of new emotes. That is what ill agree to...
/unsigned on taking up inventory space w/ instruments.

-could use say, 2 new emotes for each chapter of GW using instruments from that chapter's featured country.

Ok, I guess I agree with not having actual items, but still, they've gotta be playble so people can make bands!

I like this idea.. Would be good for during those special events and stuff, as long as there would be a good system that lets you choose what notes to play and when.. Could do real songs by getting the sheet music and inputting the notes

If they were actual items, they could just spawn in your hands when you do the emote.. Or pull them out your sleeve or something. I'd like to see someone pull a Cello out of their sleeve They wouldnt have to take up inventory space that way.

The mute feature is definately required though. Ive played other games with sounds to emotes and it gets extremely annoying if there isnt a mute option. Like another game ive played where the chars sing while dancing. 10 people singing "lalalalala" in a high pitched voice gets extremely annoying. Thankfully you could just walk away 10metres and you wouldnt hear it anymore in that game.
